Lakestyle magazine accepts unsolicited manuscripts from writers. If you are interested in submitting a story for possible publication, please keep the following information in mind… 1. Our readers are cabin and lake-home owners. Lakestyle seeks to celebrate this way of life and encourages stories that do so as well. 2. Our readers are interested in tips and ideas that enhance their lake home experience. 3. Lakestyle relies heavily on photography. Writers are encouraged to submit photography that supports the story. If you are interested in submitting a story to Lakestyle, please remember that all unsolicited material becomes the property of Lakestyle. Should we publish your story, we will agree to pay between $.10 and $.25 per edited word. All editorial changes are unilateral, that is, Lakestyle editors will correct and condense the story for publication. Should your story be considered for publication, you will receive a contract for the story (a blank sample contract is enclosed). No unsolicited material will be returned unless previously agreed to, in writing, by Lakestyle’s publisher or editor.
